Terms of Service

Last updated: November 3, 2026 · Contact: hopeevidencevault@gmail.com

The service

Hope Evidence Vault provides tools to preserve digital evidence and prepare structured reports. The service is provided as described on the website at the time of your use; during the development period, features are planned and may change before launch.

Your content

Materials you save remain yours. You grant the service only the technical ability to store, process and display your materials back to you and to the people you choose to share them with.

What the service is not

Hope Evidence Vault does not provide legal advice and does not replace a lawyer. A SHA-256 checksum proves that a file matches the copy recorded when it was saved; it does not by itself prove that an event happened or that a material is authentic. No guarantee is given that any material will be admitted or accepted in a specific legal proceeding. AI-assisted features, when introduced, will support analysis and will never be presented as a legal judgment.

Acceptable use

You are responsible for the materials you save and for having a lawful basis to hold and share them. Do not use the service to store material whose possession is illegal, or to harass or harm any person.

Plans and payment

Paid plans, when launched, will be described with their prices before purchase. Ending a paid plan never removes your ability to export your own original materials.

Liability

The service is provided "as is" during development. Nothing in these terms removes liability that cannot be removed under applicable law.
